My Abstract work is developed through the use of texture, colour and shapes which I combine intuitively to evocatively draw out specific, personal feelings, memories, or visceral responses from the viewer. My work often evokes a city’s layered history or sometimes my paintings start as pure “chaos” to everyone else. Just loops, lines, colours crashing into each other. But for me pieces like “Interlaced Motion” are maps of connection-how paths cross, overlap, tangle, and somehow still make sense when you step back.
